Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is fun, but it lacks the cleverness of the original movie. The jokes just aren't as sharp or plentiful. The animation is still impressive, though, and the voice acting is well done.
Kids will still enjoy this sequel, but adults may grow tired of it after repeated viewings. I wanted to like this movie more than I did.
