It's a movie about a young actress outshining her aging mentor, and the drama and frustration this creates in the older woman. I couldn't help but make the connection between the movie's plot and reality.
A younger actress draws all the accolades and upstages her much more talented counterpart in a movie. It's basically a movie about itself. If you can get past Kristen Stewart's blank stares, there is actually some good material here.
