There's plenty of good intentions in this film, and it actually means well, but the emotional manipulation is unequivocally a burden it can't get rid of, because its story wouldn't work otherwise.
And there's nothing I hate more than emotional manipulation, especially when dealing with a disease, and specifically with a disease as delicate as cancer.
And for me it seems far-fetched, that a film that is supposed to be uplifting and inspirational, is more interested in dragging you through the dramatic overload with the obvious intention of provoking tears. So I must say that I wasn't happy with it.
