Review of Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) by Serinity F — 27 Apr 2011
A Sci-Fi film should never make you cry, but this one did. Spielberg's innovative storytelling made me cry because he can make you believe that it's possible for aliens to exist. This movie affected me in my dreams.
For some reason I dreamt of this film for three days, and kept seeing the Devil's mountain and just clearly Truffaut's face. Truffaut's last work as an actor nearly 5 years before his death.
There can be no other actor who can interact with aliens as much as Truffaut's humble, sensitive portrayal of a scientist who believed that Alien's exist.
