Review of Clockers (1995) by Drew H — 01 Jan 2008
This covered a lot of the same ground that would later be delved into more deeply in "The Wire." Keitel was still at the top of his game, you can't go wrong with a story based on a Richard Price book, and Spike Lee tempers the horrors of the street with a lot of humor.
If I have a complaint, it's that the plot twisted upon itself a bit too much toward the end.
