Review of Clockers (1995) by Alexander Z — 21 Mar 2014
Wow. This is one heavy film. Unlike every other Spike Lee film I've seen, it's also extremely thoughtful and does not divide people along racial lines, instead choosing to examine the men and women behind the skin.
It's also one of the most accurate portrayals of inner city life I've seen.
