Review of Climates (2006) by Private U — 15 Mar 2009
I'm a huge fan of the several East Asian "new wave" movements, and in those movements I've found films so delicate and simple that exhume the most complex of ideas and emotions... And to my surprise, I found very much the same (but also quite different!) motifs and stylism in this beautifully-shot, elegantly-minimalistic film.
Extraordinary filmmaking!
