Review of Clifford (1994) by Adam R — 04 Aug 2014
This is an uncomfortably unfunny film that I used to love playing back in my video clerk days. This film and "Anaconda" were both on my high rotation to secretly annoy customers. The script is not all that funny, but the uncomfortableness comes when you have a 40 year-old Martin Short playing a 10 year old boy.
It's basically the "Problem Child" films but with a grown man pretending to be the child and drive his Uncle Martin, Charles Grodin, crazy in his quest to get someone to take him to Dinosaur World.
Mary Steenburgen, Dabney Coleman and Richard Kind and Richard Kind were part of this debacle.
