Review of Cliffhanger (1993) by Vern H — 26 Jul 2011
Out of all of the action movies that it's like, Cliffhanger isn't the best, but it still is mostly entertaining. I mean, I know that these kinds of movies don't have the best writing, but some of the dialogue in Cliffhanger was just plain out ridiculous.
And some of the continuity and timing errors (which I know you shouldn't care about in a film like this) were glaringly obvious and took me out of the movie at times. The action isn't extremely wall-to-wall like I expected it to be, but more in sections, which isn't necessarily bad.
In the end, Cliffhanger ends up as a more minor-ly entertaining, but still watchable entry among the action films of it's nature.
