I blame this movie for my severe fear of heights (watch the opening scene, imagine a 7 year old watching it in the theater). Can't believe I forgot about this movie, after playing Cliffhanger on Sega CD I had to watch this movie again.
Couldn't help but enjoy this movie. John Lithgow makes this movie good, he has to be one of the best action villains of all time second only to Hans or Simon Gruber (Die Hard and Die Hard With A Vengeance).
1988 to 1995 was the era of actions movies to me, seemed like every action movie that came out was awesome. Outside of Rocky, First Blood and Demolition Man; Cliffhanger is my favourite Stallone movie.
If I could make a action movie it would be alot like this.
