Review of Click (2006) by Leonard D — 23 Sep 2015
I don't know how to rate this movie. It was disappointing, I suppose. I wouldn't say it rips off anything majorly, though, as I see in the consensus. I really did enjoy the themes of mortality, hardship and love.
Honestly, seeing the concept for this, the man skipping over the "bad" parts of his life and ultimately skipping the entire thing, would've made a much better movie had it not tried to be a comedy.
The "humor" was awful, but I'd expect nothing better from an Adam Sandler movie. Overall, I just wish the great ideas weren't muddled with the crappy dialogue and "comedy" aspects.
I don't even think Sandler did a poor job playing the character. If only it was just a little less dumb, it'd be very interesting to watch.
