Unbelievably, it's better than the original by quite some distance, and is probably the best production yet in the View Askewniverse series. Jay's conversion to religion and sobriety, the attempted reclaimation of 'porch monkey', the Silence of the Lambs moments, Elias in general - it's all perfectly judged.
The out-takes confirm just how funny this film is - not only are they worth watching, a lot of them are very funny in their own right.
