Review of Clerks II (2006) by Kyle S — 26 Sep 2014
A worthy predecessor that is more self-aware, deeper and funnier than the first. Clerks 2 wounded up being one of the raunchiest, deepest, and saddest comedies I've seen. And it's a good. The movie blends all of these tones so well.
I thought the script was a lot more outrageous and smarter than the first, building depth on all it's characters while also adding a few good supporting roles. All in all, Clerks 2 is a satisfying sequel and a must watch for all Kevin Smith fans.
And don't be such a porch monkey.
