Review of Clerks II (2006) by Frank O — 18 Jan 2013

Kevin Smith shakes the dust off his indie hit characters by showing them to us ten years later, this time as workers in a fast food restaurant. Though Smith's choice to film a big budget Clerks movie went against the wishes of some die hard fans of the original 1994 surprise hit, it is safe to say that this is a different film with a different style but still great appeal and big laughs as well as a script that unmistakably leads back to its creator.

There is also some appeal in seeing whether the characters have grown up, and some delight in seeing that they haven't.
