Review of Cleaner (2007) by Bonnie Z — 07 Jan 2009

Pretty standard, the plot and dialogue were definitely nothing to write home about. Sam Jackson does a really good job in a somewhat subdued role for him, and Ed Harris is solid as usual. The "twists" at the end were easy to see coming, and the story itself was your typical "cop with a past" drama, but at least it had the good sense to stay at 88 minutes long.

I hate it when movies with bland stories drag things out to two hours...this movie cuts with a lot of the bull and leaves only what's necessary.
