Review of Clash of the Titans (2010) by Tomas T — 28 Apr 2012
Ancient greek mythology, check, insane multimillion dollar budget, check, excessive usage of CGI, check, non-existing story, check. The list of what is wrong with Clash of the Titans could go on almost endlessly, but honestly it is not worth it.
Summarizing the film by stating that the Clash of the Titans combines all the worse aspects of modern day Hollywood under one single blockbuster is enough. E.g. One knows the film is utterly lost when Liam Neeson - an Irish actor with strong accent!! - strolls on stage as god Zeus in his untidy beard and shining plate armor.
Saddest part with Clash of the Titans is to see quality actors like Ralp Fiennes and Liam Neeson sink so low and sign up for non-sense like this.
