Review of Clash of the Titans (2010) by Ocean L — 19 Feb 2016
When I saw the Owl I was momentarily hopeful... but I soon realized that there would be NO tribute to the original masterpiece, as this was a blatant disregard to the continuity of the story, the depth of the characters, and the overall quality of the experience as given by the 1981 original.
Special effects do not make up for the lack. Overall the 1981 original was far better. But the music was pretty good. Nice and dramatic. I guess I can admit that I would be less judgemental if I had never seen the original.
But that's life.
