Review of Clash of the Titans (2010) by Tay S — 11 Jun 2012

Although this film is said to be plagued by critics for its over the top CGI, I find it rather comforting. It cannot blow audiences away and win their hearts like the original did, but it is nice to finally see the monsters and creatures in top notch form, amazing visuals.

Worthington, in my opinion is great in this movie, but the true hero is the musical score which plays out to a T with the fight scenes. The actions is nicely choreographed and again I must compliment the creatures for how stunning they look. A few big Hollywood names go along in the cast but there really isn't enough movie for the audience to indulge in any character beyond Perseus, who doesnt have much to say. None the less I found this to be a great action movie and one for fans of mythology.
