If you have seen the remake, you must realize, at least eventually, how precious this movie is. I was 11 when I saw it in the theater, and I didn't understand until just the other day upon rewatching it how Harry Hamlin's right nipple made me gay.
This movie contains emoting of the very first order, dames and knights embarrassing themselves for a paycheck (and why not?), and of course the Harryhausen brilliance. Fuck all that, I'm down with Harry's nipples, which may be the finest ever filmed.
