A fun film but not much else. This film was released after films such as Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Alien yet feels like it was a 1960's film. Laughable and corny at times it is still a fun film.
The stop-motion is good but doesn't fit in the eighties well and reminds you more of 1933's King Kong when the film could have used more of the state-of-the-art technology of the time. It has a strange appeal to it but it isn't a great film.
