Had no expectations at all of this movie and well; if you have a crap day - this movie will definately put a kiddish smile on your face and maybe even a heartfelt tear if you are a softie like me.. ;) This reminds me of Gremlins/ET type of genre combined with Stephen Chow's slapstick humour.
It's cheesy, it's unreal and it worked for me... The kids are the stars of the movie even though Stephen has a part in it. As with many foreign movies, I would imagine the jokes would be lost in translation if subtitled/dubbed, so I'm happy my parents taught me Cantonese (even though it is actually not my mother tongue!) Hehe.
