A so-so family offering from Stephen Chow which is easily my least favorite of his films but that's not to say it's terrible. CJ7 wears the E.T. influence on its sleeve with pride and that's fine by me, but if only it had a little more substance to offer.
Chow is humorous as usual and alot of the child actors are entertaining even if some parts come off as really mean-spirited. Hopefully down the line Chow sticks to keeping martial arts in his movies.
