Review of City Slickers (1991) by Jessica D — 16 May 2009

I love these kinds of movies, they are fun, easygoing, completely unpretentious, thoroughly entertaining, with some great acting and directing. This is a gem: not only it is like that, it has a bit of a "meaning-of-life" going on there, and everything in a true and plain way.

It did not come off as forced or desperate, instead it's very believable and identifiable. And I love the song "Young at heart". It is a hymn of this movie.
