Review of City Slickers (1991) by Jason W — 07 Feb 2011
With the coming of middle age, things no longer seem exciting in life. The minutia lose their swagger, employment becomes a trap and even family life loses a little luster. "City Slickers" delivers hilarity and heart as Mitch, Phil and Ed (Crystal, Stern and Kirby) try to find their smiles.
They learn the secret of life from the cantankerous, weathered Curly (Palance) and what is really important in life. One of the best films of the 90's. Just ignore the sequel.
