Review of City of Women (1980) by Brian P — 23 Sep 2006
Late fellini, and probably not for people who aren't already fans, but city of women works out some themes that fellini explored all through his films, and it is interesting to see the giant examining the new youth culture of his day through the lens of his own childhood.
His decent into the den of the Priapus like deity contains some fascinating sets, particularly the hall of women's faces.
