Review of City of Women (1980) by Eileen M — 01 Aug 2007
An overwhelming film. Fellini is a master of the metaphorical, the absurd, the surreal... the role reversals of men and women in this film are amazingly insightful. Fellini's neuroses are depicted with clarity (a clear illustration of confusion).
The ending is nothing short of mindblowing. One of Fellini's best, for sure.
