Review of City of the Living Dead (1980) by Sean C — 03 Mar 2008
I think it probably has this title to cash in on the living dead craze, but it's really more of a Lovecraftian kind of film. It does take place in Dunwich. The atmosphere is great with all the mist throughout the city.
Some pretty gross vomiting and maggot scenes. Not to mention the innards being sucked out through the mouth. I don't actually get the very last scene with the kid running towards the last two people.
What are they screaming about?
