Don't let the word sequel fool you when it comes to this film, because it is far from a sequel. If you have the mind set of seeing City of God 2 you will leave feeling disappointed. Having said that, this moving was amazing. The story dives so deep (if you are paying attention) that these charecters become real to you. It tells the story of two best friends who find themselves in a similar situation as the fathers they never knew were in, but will they make the same mistakes?
Come for the fact that is says City of God on the poster. Stay Because this movie isn't City of God, but is done just as beautifully.
