Review of City of Men (2007) by Phillip W — 02 Aug 2008
It was hard to watch this without comparing it to City of God, which is, apparently, of no relation to this film whatsoever. It started off very slow, but the relationships between the characters are well developed.
The cinematography was beautiful and the young actors were believable. I needed a little more action to pull me in completely. However, the film did convey a sad sense of realism.
