Review of City of Men (2007) by Jose A — 26 Aug 2008
This movie is a bit like a sequel to City of God, but it drags in some parts and is painfully predictable in others. There is, however, some excellent acting and it is an intelligent study on the lack of father figures for the young characters in the favela and the need they have in trying to learn what it means to be an adult without a positive role model.
