Very emotional film about war set around Nanking Massacre in 1937 where thousands of Chinese civilians were slaughtered by the Japanese.
Shot in monochrome which I think adds to the overall impact of the film.
A must see.
(took one start off 'cos the subtitles I watched were about a min off).
