Review of City of God (2002) by Art L — 12 Oct 2014
Very powerful, difficult to watch yet hard to peel your eyes from it. Gritty telling and solid acting, almost makes you believe you're watching a documentary. If you can manage through the disturbing tales of each of the young men amongst the hard backdrop slums of Rio de Janeiro, I feel you could be somewhat inspired to do something about it.
