Such a fantastic movie! It completely exceeded my expectations, from the cinematography and storytelling to the acting and emotion. There is never a dull moment. If you're a fan of classic crime/gangster movies and are open to foreign films then this is a must see! The film has graphic and shocking moments that you only hear about in world news articles.
City of God brings a fresh take on the crime genre, and gives you a completely surreal look into what really goes on in these lawless favelas.
