Fernando Meirelles gives a powerful and intense portrayal in three period from the street of Rio De Janiero. With reality approaching, there are no borders, there are no dramatize crap, brutal maybe, but that's the best part of this film.
City of God is brilliant film making, one of the best society picture ever depicted on film. I just imagine how if Meirelles divided this into three films, just like Godfather trilogy, absolutely becomes great epic!! Welcome to the City of God!!
