Review of City of Ember (2008) by Bill B — 05 May 2009
This could have been a much better movie - I didn't read the book, but I'm sure it couldn't have ended as abruptly as the movie did. It has a likeable cast (Martin Landau was a nice surprise), great scenery/special effects, but the overall impression didn't seem to equate to the sum of its parts.
Worth the $1 rental from RedBox.
