Visually stunning, with some excellent special effects the city of Ember comes to life.
Retracing the haunting myth of underground civilizations that has been in mankind's mind for centuries, the first instalment in the Ember trilogy despite being promising did not succeed entirely.
The plot appears to be rushed and several elements are unexplained or superficially presented, Bill Murray does not convince particularly.
I found Ronan and Treadaway to be excellent though!
Once more, despite the original and intriguing story behind it, the film is entertaining but fails to impress.
