It was an interesting film. Definitely enjoyable, but I wish the child actors would show a bit of emotion from time to time. They really did look bored most of the time, even when they were being chased by giant monsters.
That was one of my biggest problems, the mystery of the giant monsters was never answered. Anyway, all in all, an entertaining premise, but I didn't feel like there was any significant payoff.
