The greatest silent film ever made??? Quite possibly, as Chaplin succeeds in telling us a simple story involving his beloved tramp, a blind flower girl & an eccentric millionaire, with so much heart, grace & charm!!! A treasure of the screen, this film is THE showcase for all of Chaplin's talents.
... acting, comic timing, directing & composing. Some of the set-pieces are among the finest ever, while the ending will leave you a little teary-eyed but filled with joy!!
