Review of City Lights (2014) by Francis L — 28 Jan 2014
Four years into the boom of the talkies, Chaplin was able to bring this silent masterpiece. Full with some of Chaplin's most ingenious, funny gags and pantomimes, and one of the most romantic, sweet endings of all times, City Lights sets another graceful triumph for Charles Chaplin.
Yet another beautiful film that is sure to generate timeless laughter.
