Review of City Island (2009) by Bill B — 06 Feb 2011
My wife talked me into watching City Island with her. I wasn't happy at first, never having been a big Andy Garcia fan. I was pleasantly surprised. Garcia gives it the right comedic touch. He is supported well by Steven Strait as his illegitimate son and Emily Mortimer as his pal.
So, even if you're not inclined to the lead or the genre, City Island is worth giving a chance.
