Review of Citizen Soldier (2016) by Faye C — 27 Sep 2016

I had heard of this movie, "Citizen Soldier", from a close friend of mine and watched it with him recently. I was really impressed with the way the National Guard men and women defend and protect each other.

I had no idea they had to send our National Guard overseas to Afghanistan. This film does an incredible job of showing just how much these soldiers care for each other. In particular, I enjoyed the scenes where the directors had them do personal interviews on screen as they talked about their relationships with their fellow brothers in service.
