Citizen Kane is a cinematic masterpiece in every sense. The script has no equal and Orson Welles direction was some of the most revolutionary of its time. Many techniques and styles used in this movie would change cinema forever.
The performance from Welles also is one of the greatest pieces of acting I can think of. This deep, dark & emotional performance drove the film and the mystery behind this iconic character. Citizen Kane was far ahead of its time and rightfully deserves the title as one of the greatest movies of all time.
