Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Carl T — 15 Oct 2017
It is a cliche now for a film snob say Citizen Kane is "the best movie ever made," Well, I do not consider myself a snob nor am I an expert so I do not think I have the authority to say it is.
But, Citizen Kane is one of the best films I have ever seen. Top three hands down (because my favorite is Seven Samurai). Citizen Kane is as compelling as it is inventive as it is clever as it is influential.
I would say it is necessary viewing.
