Review of Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away (2012) by Lilianetty L — 30 Mar 2013
The story is wonderful and visually is stunning (no VFX/CGI needed here, just REAL people doing REAL amazing things with CREATIVITY). I know this would have been more fun on a real show than a movie (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) but since it's Cirque Du Soleil, I never doubted of how it would be. I remember watching a long video of all their shows by a fellow friend that for our class of History of Theater his oral report was based on this talented group, and I knew he would also enjoy this movie (if you like I have been fan of them since years ago, you won't hate what you see at all, even if you are not from the circus world, but have done theater once in your life or more than 10 times in a row). What I mean is this: the illumination, costume, make-up and set design was curious and incredible (make you travel between worlds in the head of this fellow lady who is searching for a missing man). Since I can't spoil anything of the story, all I can say is that in the end we all get negative when we get to see something and we can't deal with that something. In this case the lady and that man's fall at the very beginning (what? See the movie to watch what I mean by that line and how it ends). PD: THE MUSIC SCORE IS FANTASTIC! Same the editing (it makes it all hermoso y brilliant).
Enjoy and AU REVOIR MES AMIS DU 7th L'ART! CHAO! HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND! - March 30, 2013.
