Review of Cinderella Man (2005) by Edgar C — 27 Apr 2010
Cinderella Man is among the worst attempts by Howard to make a good film. He hasn't achieved that yet in the strictest sense, but it is more inspirational than melodramatically forced. Solid performances and a nice conclusion make of this decent film worth a watch. It has its powerful moments, but for the most part it is overtly dramatic. And despite all this, I really must raise my hand and say: I want a wife like Zellweger!
63/100.
