Review of Cinderella Man (2005) by Axxel R — 29 Nov 2012
This movie is about a man named James Braddock. He is in the year 1929, this is a year of a great depression. He goes on by doing decent by boxing and making good money. Suddenly he brakes his hand and is stripped from his boxing license. He goes through a tough time on trying to pay for the bills and keep his family together even without a job. Even though its tough he stays strong on what he believes in. Struggling to find one he finally get back in the ring. Showing people that he his more than just a boxer.
I rate this move good solid 5. I really liked the boxing scenes. It was a real thrilling of seeing all those blows giving at each other. I also liked it that he didnt give up even when he had no many left. Even when he had a broken hand he worked hard to make money. The only thing I didn't like was his wife! She was really annoying through out the movie. Also the part when she gets mad when their was boxing in the house. He is sacrificing himself for she could have a nice place to live but shes just a pain.
