A bit too by the numbers and it felt like some of the "drama" in the film was added just to add some drama. Half a point added though for the excellent boxing sequences. Some of the best boxing action I've seen in a movie.
Most movies about boxing have pretty cheesy boxing that doesn't look like real boxing at all. This movie is different, it actually looks like real boxing (or at least a lot more real than most movies).
