Review of Cinderella (2013) by Armando A — 27 May 2015
An excellent re-telling of the classic fairy tale with nice little nods to the Disney animated classic. Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter give terrific performances as the wicked step-mother (delightfully over-the-top evil) and the Fairy Godmother (magically silly), respectively.
The girl playing Ella was also charming to watch. Well done.
