Review of Cinderella (2013) by Shane F — 31 Jul 2015
Panache, class and a touch of fairy-godmother Magic revive this classic tale. Kenneth Brannagh deftly balances captivating CGI scenes, such as Cinderella's dash at the witching hour, with heart-felt characters.
A true delight for those will be done swept away in the grandeur of a classic tale, with some minor alterations that see Cinderella living the credo of being kind and having courage. Blanchett is regal and brings depth to the step-mother, equally matched in skill by the other lead actors.
If you have a daughter, you MUST see this delightful dalliance.
