The three stars I have awarded this film are almost entirely for Brian Cox as the stiff-upper-lip wartime PM who, against better advice, wants to rouse the allies with one more heroic gesture to match the London Blitz.
The cinematography is good but the flimsy plot renders it all pretty forgettable when given the subject matter, it should have been so much better.
